Inspired by the mission furniture of the Arts & Crafts movement, (but with a twist), the Baxter by Alex Austin follows the clean, unornamented lines of the Shaker tradition. This solid wood table features two base trestles, with everything connecting through a broad bridge stretcher.
This table also embodies solid construction, featuring black round rail sites, leather drop pockets, and premium 1" framed slate.

The Arts & Crafts movement originated in London in 1888, inspired by the pre-industrial rural design style of William Morris. Known for pure lines and the simplicity and utility of the workmanship and materials.
